Q Where are you based and do you travel?

A Arpita is based in Birmingham and London but travels nationwide. She also has a team of makeup artists that are allocated throughout the UK and can also travel.

 

 

 

Q Why should I book a professional hair and make-up artist?

A It is every girls dream to look flawlessly beautiful on their wedding day. By booking a professional you can be assured that the hair and makeup is applied professionally using such products and techniques to give you a look that lasts you throughout your day. This will ensure that minimal touch ups are required during the day and give you certainty to enjoy the rest of your day. A professional can also advice and give you a hair and makeup look that works in harmony with each other as well as to suit your individual features and character.

As well as booking a hair and makeup artist for your day to make you look and feel fabulous, it is vital to have someone who can keep you calm and relaxed and dress you stress-free. A stress-free start to the event will give you the assurance of a smooth running day.

Q I haven’t got my outfit yet, when should I book in for a trial?

A As soon as a date is fixed you should book in for a trial. Wedding dates book up fairly quickly so chances are that if you wait to buy your outfit, your date will be taken. Most brides book in for two trials, one prior to getting their outfits and one after they have their outfit and jewellery. Please enquire if you would like to know about our current offers on trials.

 

 

 

Q How can I secure my wedding date with you?
A In order to reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable £50 deposit is required. This amount is redeemable against the total balance.

 

 

 

Q How long do you need to get me ready?
A Each bride will take 2 to 2 and a half hours. But this really depends on the look to be created and the time taken will be discussed during your trial.

Q Will I need a touch up?

A I will recommend products you may need to touch up your makeup. Normally this would be blotting paper for very oily skin types and lipstick. Touch ups would be minimal.

 

 

Q What does a trial involve and how long does it take?
A A trial will take approximately last 1 and a half hours. Prior to having your trial you will have a consultation on the looks that you looking to recreate. We often ask our clients to bring pictures of images that they like. This gives us a grasp of understanding each individuals taste and vision. If you do not have a vision in mind, we will help you and advise you on looks to suit.

The makeup trial will involve a full face makeup trial. The hair will be styled as it would be on the day..

You are welcome to bring your jewellery and dupatta in at the trials.

 

 

Q Does your bridal package including dressing?
A Yes, bridal packages not only involve hair and makeup but also involve full dressing, saree draping/ dupatta setting/ dupatta draping and jewellery setting.
